A nonprofit foundation that supports tile installer education and training programs for the industry.
The Ceramic Tile Education Foundation, or CTEF, describes itself as a nonprofit organization that supports education and training for tile installers. It offers programs that teach and test installation skills. Anyone in Nashville wondering how installers learn their craft, or how to look for a team that invests in training, can learn from its website, and it is a good reminder that tile work is a skilled trade.
We are an independent tile company and are not part of CTEF. We value training and teach new crew members our methods, and we are glad to talk about how we approach prep, layout and waterproofing. For questions about specific training programs, we encourage you to read the foundation website directly.
